Welcome! Please scroll down to learn about guided day hikes in the Santa Fe area.
Your Hike
I offer the unique perspective and experience that only a Santa Fe native can provide. I'm available to guide (individual and small groups) adventurous, fun, and memorable day hikes in the Santa Fe area—as well as tours of the city and surrounding region.
My Passion
My first hike was over 40 years ago high above town in the Sangre de Cristos, and I've been exploring the area trails ever since. I love my hometown—its surrounding mountain vistas, wondrous canyons, and high desert landscapes—and am passionate about sharing the region's rich and diverse natural, cultural, and human history with visitors to the Land of Enchantment! My Qualifications
- Experienced hiking and tour guide.
- Contract field instructor for NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School), the Wilderness Service Department of United World College of the American West, and Albuquerque Academy's Experiential Education Department.
- Grand Canyon National Park backpacking guide.
- Outward Bound and NOLS graduate.
- Trained and certified as a Wilderness Medical Emergency First Responder.
- BA in history.
- Completed docent training at the Palace of the Governors (part of New Mexico's Museum of History).
